BB Logistics is a family-run company founded by Bob Burge in 1965.

Bob entered the world of shipping and freight in 1940, working for a company that transported films and production items for studios and film companies. At one time, he was shipping World War Two propaganda films for the Central Office of Information.

Demobbed in 1946, Bob took up the reins again at a time when the British film industry was in its heyday and South East England was peppered with evocative names such as Pinewood, Ealing, Twickenham and Elstree. His work brought him into frequent contact with the stars, including Douglas Fairbanks Junior and Charlie Chaplin. Today, Bobʼs proud tradition is carried forward by son Michael and grandson Stephen.
